AZWIN Recruiting Objectives
The AZWIN Recruiting Committee is developing foundations and ideas focused on full spectrum recruiting. Methods and strategies are either all- encompassing or specific to a targeted audience for the recruitment of women into law enforcement. Overall, the full-spectrum recruiting committee will use traditional approaches combined with non-traditional techniques to recruit women into law enforcement. Injecting new thinking and marketing approaches is critical to attracting women and girls to the profession.

To recruit women to public safety careers through a broad spectrum of outreach using traditional and non-traditional methods.
1. Develop an innovative strategy for recruiting and marketing the public safety profession to all female audiences.
2. Develop training platforms to cultivate recruiters, internally and externally.
3. Develop an array of media focused recruitment of women to public safety positions offering multiple methods of exposure.
4. Track progress and effectiveness of recruiting strategy and modify as needed
The girls get real-world training from public safety personnel and learn rescue skills and crime scene investigation techniques. The interactive experiences encourage leadership and physical fitness.
